The Alpha Eta Chapter prides itself on close interaction and contact with all of our alumni. This is made possible through the hard work and effort put forth by the active chapter as well as a very involved alumni base. The active brothers have been very fortunate in recent years, as the generosity of our alumni and building fund has allowed us to complete a total renovation of our fraternity house. This is but one shining example of how dedication by both active brothers and alumni is vital to the success and future of Alpha Gamma Rho.
Every February the Alpha Eta Chapter sponsors our annual Founder’s Day banquet. This is a time in which all Alpha Eta brothers, both past and present, are invited to gather together and celebrate our legacy as brothers of Alpha Gamma Rho. It offers a time of homecoming for all alumni and a time of appreciation for all active brothers. In recent years, our Founder’s Day has grown into a weekend long celebration, with gatherings on both Friday night and all day on Saturday. This year’s event marked the 80th anniversary of our local founding in 1927. At this year’s Founder’s Day we had a record setting attendance of over 350 people at the banquet. I would personally like to thank all who attended and donated and encourage all who could not make it this year to come out next February.
