On April 1, 2010, Alpha Gamma Rho held their annual Spring Barbecue Philanthropy benefiting the St. Mary's Foundation of Athens, GA. The turnout was strong, with support coming from many members of both the Greek and Athens community. The entertainment was provided by our very own Carson Hand. Night In The Cold      

    Spring is always an exciting time for Alpha Gamma Rho. Earlier this semester, the brothers of Alpha Eta held our annual can food drive, "A Night in the Cold."  The sororities of UGA competed in a banner contest and donation per pounds of canned food goods. Kappa Delta won this year's banner competition. Sigma Alpha won the overall competition for bringing in the most cans bringing in 1,055 lbs of cans. Delta Delta Delta came in a close second with 828 lbs of cans. Overall, the brothers collected 2,900 lbs of cans. The cans were donated to North Eastern food bank of Athens.

     AGR has teamed up with Pi Beta Phi sorority to help the millions of Americans who have been affected by cancer. At this point, our team is already very close to reaching our goal, having raised almost $3500. The brothers of the Alpha Eta Chapter are truly trying to give as much as they receive. As the date for the Relay event approaches, more details and money totals will be added.
